One of the roles of a school based therapist is to educate school staff and parents on a student's
disability.  Our staff development resources are an excellent starting point for informational
presentations regarding specific disabilities and school performance.  Each download topic
includes:

Directions for the Staff Development Resources:
 This is a one page description of how to use the download files for
PowerPoint and Adobe Reader.

Powerpoint version of topic:  This is on average 20 slides in length.  It covers topics such as definition of specific diagnoses,
causes, treatment, school performance and helpful tips.   

Short Version of Powerpoint:  This is on average 8 slides in length.  It provides quick facts and information on a specific topic.  
This is a great, quick presentation to educate all members on the special education team.

Adobe PDF Full and Short version of topic:  The same information as the Powerpoint version just in a different format.  

Hand out:  This is a one page hand out that summarizes the topic.  Great to give to school staff to refer to throughout the school year.
