How Do Free Printable Play Dough Mats Work?

All you need to do are these three steps:

  1. Sign up to download the freebie at the bottom of the post.
  2. Download and print the mats. Laminate for multiple uses. Grab some play dough.
  3. Follow the directions on the printable play dough mat to combine learning and play.

How to Use the Mats

Each free mat has the directions on it:

  1. Reinforce the circle shape with a full color or black and white bunch of grapes mat.
  2. Review the square shapes with a color or black and white window mat.
  3. Name pictures and build the letter Cc.
  4. Count the rabbits and build the number 3.

When Is A Good Time to Use This Activity?

Students can use these free printable play dough mats for:

  • fine motor station
  • multisensory lesson for shapes, letter C or number 3
  • at home carry over activity
  • occupational or physical therapy session activity
