Halloween Ghost Printables
Ghosts. We pretend that they are all around us this time of year, hiding in the dark corners of our homes and in dark forests that are suddenly filled with goblins and ghouls. Children’s imaginations start to go wild! Here are some cute and fun Halloween ghost printables to entertain the kids. You can download the activity for the FREE at the end of the post.
How Do the Free Halloween Ghost Printables Work?
Start with this activity by following these three steps.
- Sign up to download the freebie at the bottom of the post.
- Download and print or view the activity on your screen (use a app to mark up the screen like Kami).
- For the Ghost Hunt Puzzle use a pencil to find and circle the matching ghosts. For the second activity, hide and seek the paper ghosts!
This type of hands on learning helps to practice visual scanning and fine motor skills. All important skills for reading, writing and more!
What is Included in the Freebie?
This two pages Halloween Ghost Printables PDF includes 2 activities for the children to complete:
- Ghost Hunt Puzzle – You will need a pencil, dot marker, highlighter or mark up the PDF. The children have to scan and find the 10 ghosts that have the same mouth as the ghost pictured at the top of the page. You do NOT have to match up the eyes. The solution is on page 3 of the PDF.
- Ghost Hunt Around the Room – You will need scissors for this activity. Cut apart the four ghosts or make multiple copies of the ghosts. Hide the ghosts around the room and the children have to find them.
Want to add in literacy or math work? Write letters, words or math problems on the ghosts. When the children find the ghosts they have to read the letter/word or solve the math problem.
