How to Complete the Ninja Turtle Craft Activity

First thing, print out the template and gather supplies.

  • Safety scissors or age-appropriate cutting tools
  • Glue stick or tape
  • Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
  • Green paint, markers or crayons for the turtle’s face
  • Googly eyes for extra fun
  • Red, blue, purple, or orange paint, crayons or markers for the mask to go on the turtle’s faces.

Cut out the turtle’s face using safety scissors. If working with younger children, substitute scissors with tearing to make it easier for little hands. Color or paint the turtle’s face green. Add red, blue, purple, or orange for the mask. Glue on the eyes or draw them in.

Use the handwriting section to practice letters or write the name of the child’s favorite Ninja Turtle. Allow everything to dry if paint is used before displaying the finished craft. This simple cut-and-paste activity is perfect for different age levels and can be adapted to suit a child’s abilities. Adult supervision is recommended when using small parts, scissors, or paint.
