This blank and traceable calendars bundle 2023-2024, created by school-based Occupational Therapist Thia Triggs, provides differentiated instruction and practice of numeral formations through participating in functional tasks – making calendars. The calendar notebook resource allows for push-in participation during calendar time and morning work. You select any or all of the 13 sheets for each month; sheets can be repeated as many times as desired within one month.
Three levels of difficulty are included for the calendars – blank, start dots and traceable calendars. Great for individual or group therapy sessions. Reinforce your student’s IEP math and ELA goals while focusing on your own therapeutic objectives.

You can harness the power of calendar routines to help students master CC Math Standards. Common Core SS for Math- Kindergarten & First skills taught:
K.CC.A.1 Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
K.CC.A.2 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
K.CC.A.3 Write and represent a number of objects with a written numeral 1-20
K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object. Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
K.NBT.A. Work with numbers 11-19 to gain foundations for place value.
1.OA.B.4 Understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem. For example, subtract 10 – 8 by finding the number that makes 10 when added to 8.
1.OA.NBT.NBT.B.2. a.b.c Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases: a) 10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones — called a “ten.” b)The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones. c)The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).
