Free Dr. Seuss Printables – Fine Motor Skills

Page one of the printable, is a Flip and Fill fine motor game with a Seuss style hat. Print the page for each player. Flip a coin. If the coin lands on heads, fill in two circles. If the coin lands on tails, fill in one circle. The first player to fill up the hat is the winner! Here are some ideas for filling the hat: write words that rhyme, small pieces of play dough, pom-poms, dot markers, color with crayon, pennies, bingo chips or beads.

Free Dr. Seuss Printables – Gross Motor Skills

The second freebie is a brain break using words that rhyme and a Dr. Seuss style hat. The directions are written on the printable. You have the students complete the following rhyming actions for 20 seconds each.

  • Hop on each foot and bop up an down by bending your knees. (HOP and BOP)
  • Leap forward and creep on all fours. (LEAP and CREEP)
  • Jump up in place and pump your arms in the air. (JUMP and PUMP)
  • Run in place and spin in space. (PLACE and SPACE)
  • Count to ten to calm down and sit back down again. (TEN and AGAIN)
