Tips and Variations

For an added challenge, ask children to connect the dots using slow, straight lines that land right on each dot. Older students can write a sentence using the fall word instead of copying the word once.

Laminate the pages or slip them into sheet protectors and use a dry-erase marker for repeated practice. Once the picture is complete, children can color it in for extra fine motor work.
