Summary: Color Coding is an electronic book of 40+ activities to encourage shape recognition, coloring in the lines, pre-writing skills and handwriting skills.
Details: To practice coloring in the lines begin with the color coding shape pictures, pages 4-15 (which progress from easier to harder). The dark black background helps to see where to stay within the shape. If mistakes are made, the errors are not as noticeable so it will help to decrease frustration in some children. To practice following directions and prepositional phrases (ie on top of, below, etc) use the color coding pages 16-18. To practice pre-writing skills, try pages 19 and 20. Pages 21-28 are the capital letters, pages 29-38 are the lower case letters and pages 39-42 are the numbers. Use these pages to practice handwriting and to encourage visual discrimination and visual motor skills.
Color Coding encourages:
- visual motor skills
- visual discrimination skills
- letter and number recognition
- shape recognition
As with all our products, the activities are reproducible to use over and over again with all the children that you teach.
