How Do You Play the Cupcake Game For Kids?
DIRECTIONS FOR DIGITAL GAME:
Open one of the 10 PDF games. Click on any cupcake at the bottom of the page. If you don’t get the SOLD OUT SHOP, complete the activities on the page, click on the black and white cupcake picture, and return to the home page to try again! If you get the SOLD OUT SHOP, you lose the game.
The SOLD OUT SHOP changes in each of the 10 games so you can play the game over and over again without your students knowing where it is hiding,
DIRECTIONS FOR PRINT VERSION OF THE CUPCAKE GAME:
Print and cut out the cards. Put all of the cards into a box or bag. Player one picks a card. Do the activities and keep the card. Player two takes a turn and does the activities on the cart they picked. If you pick the SOLD OUT card you lose a turn. Put the SOLD OUT card back in the box. When there is only the SOLD OUT card left, the player with the most completed cards at the end of the game is the winner!
What Exercises Are Included in the Cupcake Game?
There are three different activities to complete on each cupcake page:
- 10 different exercises in standing: Jump Up, Jumping Jacks, Lunges, Side Stretches, Wall Push Ups, High Knee Hugs, Overhead Stretch, Back Stretch, Rear Heel Kicks, and Windmills.
- Spell out the cupcake name using sign language with your hands and fingers.
- Write or type the cupcake name.
