How to Use the Emotion Check In Packet:
Review the different emotions that are on the emojis. Students can follow the step by step directions on pages 4-8 to practice how to draw each emotion. You can use the one complete page or the four sectioned pages.
Use the Emoji Check In pages for students to self-report their emotions.
Choose the appropriate Emoji Check In page for your student:
- Pages 9-10 – Color in the correct emoji. Pick one large page or print 4 to a page.
- Pages 12-13 – For written response, decide single lines or dotted lines.
Use page 11 for a vocabulary word bank.
