The fun, interactive, Emotional Regulation Bingo Game helps to reinforce the concepts of self-regulation using a colored system to discuss different levels of alertness. Use the Emotional Regulation Bingo Game on a computer (including Google Slides) or in print!
The Emotional Regulation Bingo Game includes 25 calling cards and 20 Bingo boards. It is fun for a crowd and easy to play to help children identify and recognize different levels of alertness.
The games are available electronically in a ZIP file immediately following payment. You will receive three versions of the game: INTERACTIVE Google Slides, Powerpoint, and PDF Version to print.
This packet is a excellent compliment to the Emotional Regulation Worksheets.
How it Works:
- Make a copy of the Google Slides version, download the Powerpoint version OR print the PDF version.
- Review the four colored blocks of emotional regulation using the hand out. Provide each player with a virtual or printed bingo board.
- Display the calling cards, discuss the level of alertness for the emotion and mark your bingo board. First player to get five in a row is the winner!
Practice self-regulation, social-emotional, visual discrimination, fine motor, and visual motor skills!
Bonus activity – you can use the calling cards for children to review the different blocks of emotional regulation. Show an emotion card and students can determine the color. Click on the card to self-check answers.
The color and black and white handout from Emotional Regulation Bingo are included (download them for free here) to reinforce the concepts and references the following emotions:
GREEN: Calm, Happy, Focused, Ready to Learn, Content
BLUE: Sad, Bored, Tired, Sick, Disappointed
YELLOW: Worried, Excited, Silly, Frustrated, Stressed
