EASY MOTHER’S DAY CARDS TO MAKE IN SCHOOL

Making a Mother’s Day card in school is a great way to show your mom how much you appreciate her. And it doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming – there are plenty of easy Mother’s Day cards that you can make right in the classroom. Here are just a few ideas:

Handmade Mother’s Day Card Ideas with Construction Paper

Use construction paper to make a card in your mom’s favorite colors. Write a special message inside, and decorate the front with hearts, colorful flowers, or other motifs.

Use markers or crayons to draw a picture of you and your mom on the front of a blank card. On the inside, write a poem, quote, or simply express your gratitude for all that she does for you.

Collage Card

Making a collage is always a fun craft and is a great idea for open-ended options for your students! Get creative with paper scraps! Glue on colorful pieces of wrapping paper, construction paper, or even photos to create a collage-style card. Make a tissue paper flower card – this is great for fine motor skills! On the inside, add a handwritten note or sketch.

Heart Card

Cut out a heart shape stencil and use mini sponges to dab paint inside the heart on a card. Write a nice note inside and this card is ready to go. Perfect for the little ones!

Fingerprint Card

Fingerprint Greeting Card – use this Mother’s Day craft template to create a super easy, meaningful card for mom.

Butterfly Handprint Cards

Put some paint on your hands and press them on a piece of folded paper. They will become the butterfly wings. Let it dry and add in details with a marker for the head and the body.
