HOW TO PLAY MATH WAR GAMES

This two-player game transforms basic counting into an energetic tug of war. Players roll the die to “pull” the game piece toward their side of the board. This game builds excitement while giving children plenty of counting practice and visual number reinforcement.

  • Place the game piece in the center of the Tug of War game board.
  • Player 1 and Player 2 each choose a side.
  • Player 1 rolls the die first. For example, if Player 1 rolls a 6, move the game piece 6 spaces toward Player 1’s side.
  • Player 2 rolls next. If Player 2 rolls a 3, move the game piece 3 spaces toward Player 2’s side.
  • Players continue rolling and moving the piece until one player pulls it completely to their side, that player wins!
