Kids Chore Checklist – Free Printable

As a parent, you have a responsibility to help your child become an independent human as early as possible. This means helping them do things themselves when they can, rather than doing it for them. One of the best ways to teach this is by having kids do chores around the house. It not only teaches them valuable life lessons about how to be responsible, but it also helps make your life easier! You can download this FREE kids chore checklist at the bottom of the post.

When you were younger, chores may have felt like an inconvenience. But as an adult, you probably know better — chores are good for kids in so many ways. They help develop a sense of responsibility and give your children the opportunity to feel like they’re making a difference in your family. Read the list of suggestions below to get ideas of what types of chores are appropriate based on your child’s age. Keep in mind, use your discretion, based on your child’s abilities not necessarily their age.
