What’s Included with Download?
PowerPoint files with all 26 uppercase and lowercase letters will be available electronically for download immediately following payment. The Google Links to Make A Copy of this activity into your Google Drive is also included for your convenience in separate PDF files. You will need a Google Drive to make a copy of the file.
The words that are included to build, find, trace, box and write are:
Foods: apple, bread, cake, donut, egg, fish, grape, honey, ice cream, jello, kiwi, lemon, meat, noodle, orange, pizza, quiche, rice, sushi, tomato, udon, vanilla, waffle, ximenia, yogurt, zucchini.
Animals: ant, bear, cat, dog, elephant, fox, giraffe, horse, iguana, jellyfish, koala, lion, monkey, narwhal, octopus, panda, quail, rhino, squirrel, tiger, urchin, vulture, whale, x-ray fish, yak, zebra.
Directions on How to Use this Interactive Activity
You can be used with Google Slides or PowerPoint and be used with screen sharing platforms with annotation features such as Zoom. When used in Google Slides or PowerPoint, this activity is to be used in “Edit” mode and not “Play” or “Presenter” mode.
Details about the Interactive Build, Find, Trace, Box, & Write Uppercase Foods & Lowercase Animals:
Use your pointer finger, mouse (computer), or trackpad (laptop) to do the following:
Build It – Click to drag and drop lines and curves to form alphabet letters while copying visual sample of properly assembled letter on the left side. Numbers provided for visual assistance for sequencing of strokes and steps for proper letter formation.
Find It – Use pointer finger or cursor of mouse/trackpad to find and point to all letters with correct letter orientation. If using a program with annotation features, can draw on screen and circle all correct answers.
Trace It – Follow arrows to trace alphabets using pointer finger or trace along with cursor of mouse/trackpad. If using a program with annotation features, can trace to write words.
Box It – Drag & Drop Moveable Letters from letter bank to spell out words into boxes.
Write It – Practice and write the word on your own sheet of paper.
