Fall or Thanksgiving Game Board – Free Printable

How Does the Free PDF Work?
This is a perfect game for the time of year when Fall is in the air or Thanksgiving is coming. All you need to do to gain access to the board game is:

- Download and print the game board. Add it to your collection on your computer of free printable Thanksgiving games.
- Grab one die and game piece and start playing the game!
You might want to print it on cardstock paper and laminate the game so you can use it over and over again. If you do not want to print it, you could open up the game board on a tablet or computer and mark up the PDF to move around the board.
How to Play the This Fun Game
You will need the following supplies to play this great game:
- one die
- game pieces to mark your space – grab a pawn from another game, a shiny penny or dime, or maybe a clean pumpkin seed!
- the game board.
The first person rolls the die and moves their game piece the number on the die. Look at the color codes to determine what to do next:
- Lose a turn
- Roll again
- Back 2 spaces
- Forward 2 spaces
Continue taking turns. The player who makes it to the finish line first is the winner!
When is a Good Time to Use the Fall or Thanksgiving Game Board?
This type of game can be played:
- in a fine motor station in the classroom
- during a Thanksgiving party at school
- as part of an Occupational Therapy or Counseling session to practice turn-taking and winning and losing.
- to practice handwriting too! On each colored circle you land on, write down something you are thankful for.
- as part of a Physical Therapy session – add fun exercises at each color stop i.e. waddle like a Turkey, hop like a rabbit, scamper like a squirrel, or spin like a falling leaf.
- when added to your collection of fun family board games
